Aztec Recreation Wellness Office

The Wellness Office, a satellite office of Health Promotion providing wellness and nutrition education, is located just inside the main entrance of the ARC.

Meet with a health educator or trained graduate student to complement your fitness routine with nutritious eating and a healthy, balanced lifestyle. We're here to remind students that being healthy is more than just going to the gym!

Aztec Recreation Wellness wants to encourage you to take a holistic approach to your health – incorporating the many dimensions of health, wellness, and well-being into your life, such as:

Aztec Recreation Center

  • Logo: Aztec Recreation The ARC and ARC Express, managed by Associated Students, offers a variety of fitness opportunities including group fitness, personal training, fitness orientation, and more.
  • Mission Bay Aquatic Center offers classes, rentals, and programs for students to experience surfing, sailing, rowing, kayaking, windsurfing, and more.

Aztec Recreation aquatics programs include lap swimming, youth and adult swim lessons, intramural and club sports programs. The Aquaplex features a 50m pool, leisure pool, spa, full service locker rooms and ample deck space for relaxation.
